Reviews

  • My husband and I highly recommend this childbirth class. Ashley and Jill were extremely knowledgeable on each subject covered and answered all questions any couple had. The class felt like a very welcoming environment and they both are very approachable. I found it helpful as well as different topics were covered they gave insight to the different hospitals in the area and what that specific facility offered. This class made me no longer afraid/anxious of childbirth because it provided me the education of the many different scenarios that can happen during labor/delivery. It also gave me the confidence I needed because I now knew what to expect during this incredible experience.

  • This course was immensely helpful in understanding my options for birth, what I can control or ask for, and what I cannot! I went in with one idea of what my birth had to default to and came out with a whole different mentality of what my body and mind is capable of.

  • "The class is welcoming, friendly, and open for discussions and questions. Ashley and Jill are approachable and their familiarity with each other make the vibes very warm and fuzzy which eases the nerves when you’re pregnant/expecting a huge upcoming change."

  • "My husband and I found this class really helpful. Jill and Ashley are so positive, they made us feel excited about the birthing process and never made us feel like any of our questions were silly. We truly learned so much in the class and that brought us a lot of comfort. It’s also just a memory we will always have, my partner and I, taking a childbirth class together. That’s a life moment that we were happy to share with Ashley and Jill."

  • "My partner and I are so glad we took Ashley and Jill's Birth to Baby course. We learned so much that helped us prepare for birth, labor, delivery, and taking care of a newborn. There was so much I didn't know beforehand, and having a better idea of what to expect was so useful. It was especially great that they have hands-on activities like practicing labor positions or things like swaddling a baby. I felt like this class was so much better than if we'd taken one online. It was also nice to meet other couples in the same stage of life, and see how other people are preparing and what questions they ask. Ashley and Jill answered any questions people had, and were clearly knowledgeable about so many different scenarios. I feel like our experience of labor and birth was definitely improved because we'd taken this course, and I'd recommend it to anyone pregnant."

  • "This birthing course really prepared me every possible outcome. They helped me create a back up birthing plan, which I needed. Though no one wants to think about the ‘what if’s’ in life… when having a baby it is so necessary. If I hadn’t taken this course, I would have not been prepared for how my labor went and would not have known how to make a proper informed birthing plan for myself. I would recommend this course to anyone who is a first time parent!"

  • "This birth class was extremely helpful! Jill and Ashley are so friendly and a wealth of knowledge. Learning about the birth process and practicing labor positions & coping techniques helped prepare us for our birth. Plus, it was fun to take the class with other couples. Everyone had a different vision for their birth, which fostered an environment for great discussions (which you can’t get from reading a book). My husband felt the class was really helpful too and it helped him be an active partner during our birth. We highly recommend this class!"

  • This course really helped prepare me for my hospital birth. I had a lot of fear and anxiety around being in a hospital setting but Ashley and Jill did such a thorough job giving me all the information and possibilities that nothing for about my induction, labor, or birth was a surprise to me. The class also created opportunities for intentional conversations with my partner around expectations for birth and life with the baby. They do a great job giving you resources, answering questions and making it interactive. It is well worth your money and time and I also encourage any pregnant friends to put a fund for this class on their baby registry! I will also just add that both Ashley and Jill are incredible doulas and I was so comfortable with both of them--- either of them would be an incredible support for you to have on your birth team.
